Neshaal th'Chun was an Andorian thaan serving as a Starfleet security officer aboard the USS Enterprise-E.

History[]

In 2379, Ensign th'Chun was part of the search and rescue team which went to Tezwa in search of Commander Riker and his missing tactical team. The bodies of Lieutenants Kelly Tierney and Matthew Barnes were found along with Master Chief Petty Officer Razka, but Riker's was nowhere to be found. (TNG novel: A Time to Kill)

th'Chun was also part of the boarding team who secured the freighter Venezia's Bridge and sleeping quarters after its impounding by the Enterprise. (TNG novel: A Time to Heal)

th'Chun was still aboard the Enterprise in 2381, having earned the rank of Lieutenant, and witnessed the Borg Invasion. After the Enterprise and the USS Aventine traversed a subspace tunnel from the Azure Nebula to the Carina Arm, the two ships were attacked and boarded by Hirogen hunters. th'Chun was part of Randolph Giudice's security team that engaged the hunters with TR-116 rifles. th'Chun laid down suppression fire to allow the rest of the team to retreat, but an explosive peppered him with shrapnel, killing him.
