New Chicago was a city on Luna and was located near Lake Armstrong, a lake that was large enough to be seen on Earth on a clear day. (TNG movie: First Contact)
History[]
In 2266, celebrated Earth mathematician and pacifist Alfred Bleikoff, cryogenically frozen in the 1990s, was revived aboard the USS Enterprise. Once on Earth, he embarked on a campaign to have the planetary Earth defense screen removed. He delivered rousing speeches in Rome, Mariana City, and then in New Chicago, accompanied by James T. Kirk, Spock, Leonard McCoy and Montgomery Scott. Afterward, Bleikoff chose to make his final public appeal in Jerusalem. The group boarded a transport ship at O'Hare Rocket Port to travel back to Earth. (TOS comic: "Prophet of Peace")
