New Kentar was a star with an associated star system in the Gon'cra sector, located in the galaxy's Alpha Quadrant. The system was part of the Gon'cra Nebula. (STO - New Frontiers mission: "Mirrors and Smoke")
Characteristics[]
The New Kentar system lay inside the green-hued Gon'cra nebula, hiding it from the rest of the galaxy. The system contained four planets, one asteroid belt and at least one moon.

History[]
At some point after the Great Exodus of the Lukari from Kentar, the Kentari were forced to leave their homeworld as well. They found refuge in the star system they dubbed New Kentar, and settled on the second planet. The Kentari Union remained isolated from the rest of the galaxy.
In 2410, the Lukari Consortium starship LSS Reskava was accompanied by an Alpha Quadrant Alliance vessel on a first contact mission to New Kentar. Following a Tzenkethi Coalition attack on New Kentar Moon, Prime Minister Tuulemaan agreed to cordial relations with the Consortium and their AQA allies.
