New Kentar Moon, also known as Kentari moon, was a class M moon located in space of the galaxy's Alpha Quadrants, orbiting New Kentar, third planet in the New Kentar star system in the Gon'cra sector. The moon was a preeminent source of the Kentari Union's crops and food. (STO - New Frontiers mission: "Mirrors and Smoke")

In 2410, the Tzenkethi Coalition targeted Kentari moon with protomatter bombs because they found a specific variety of crystals on its surface. The combined forces of the Kentari Union, Lukari Concordium and Alpha Quadrant Alliance were unable to prevent the cataclysm. Fortunately, the Lukari had developed new hi-tech that was able to restore the moon's ecosphere and crops in minutes. The recovery was led by Captain Kuumaarke from the LSS Reskava.
