New New Aberdeen was a colony world of New Aberdeen, a Federation world, and located in the region of space known as The Triangle.
The colony had a lucrative ship-building and design industry, as well as well-developed orbital and surface port facilities. The planet was governed by the Council of Clans who not only professed their loyalty to the clans of New Aberdeen, its parent planet, but also the Federation. (FASA module: The Triangle)
