New Romulus Shipyards

The New Romulus Shipyards was a 25th century Romulan shipyard facility, a starship-manufacturing space station with a ground-based facility at New Romulus Command, in service of the Romulan Republic's Navy from the 2400s decade. History and specifics

The Romulan Republic investigated the class M planet Dewa III in the Tau Dewa sector block in the year 2409 and set up a colony. The planet, now dubbed New Romulus, was to serve as the new joint homeworld of Remans and Romulans. (STO - From the Ashes mission: "The Search for New Romulus")

Admiral Kererek maintained an office at New Romulus Command, the Navy's command facility in the New Romulus city. In 2409, he ordered Navy commanding personnel to the command center to requisition a Tiercel-class shuttle from the shuttle requisition officer at New Romulus Command Center Shipyard. Initially, the Romulan Republic fleet consisted of repurposed warbirds of the Romulan Star Navy. The Republic commissioned warbirds of their own design. The first launched from New Romulan Shipyards was the Ar'Kif-class tactical warbird. (STO website: Legacy of Romulus: Romulan Tactical Warbirds)

From 2410 on, this facility as well as its counterpart in the Romulan Flotilla serviced any Republic Navy and Khitomer Alliance starships operated by Republic personnel. (STO - New Dawn mission: "Explore the Flotilla")
