The New York City Subway is a transport system in New York, on the North American continent of the planet Earth in Sector 001 of the galaxy's Alpha Quadrant.

Benny Russell would use the subway to travel around New York, beginning from his home in Harlem. When he was younger, Russell and his aunt Ardelia Mathis would take the subway out of Harlem to go to the cinema. (DS9 novelization: Far Beyond the Stars)
