By the time of the Xindi crysis, he assigned to the Enterprise in the engineering section.
In September, 2153, after Commander Charles "Trip" Tucker III returned from his intel mission from Haket's Moon, Ensigns Nguyen and Camacho checked shuttlepod for repair needs and refueling. (ENT novel: Last Full Measure)
On July 18, 2155, after the Battle of Draylax, Nguyen was on duty at the launch bay, when Captain Archer called down to check upon the status of the shuttlepods. Nguyen informed the captain, that Commander T'Pol taken Shuttlepod Two the previous night. (ENT novel: Kobayashi Maru)
