Niala Damar was a female Cardassian who lived in the 24th century. She was the wife of Corat Damar and the mother of Sakal Damar and several other children.

Damar often told her husband that he preferred action to introspection. (DS9 short story: "Face Value")

In 2375, Niala went into hiding at the home of Reykor Saneel after her husband turned on the Dominion and formed the Cardassian Liberation Front. Meanwhile, determined to punish Damar for betraying them, the Female Changeling ordered Weyoun to redouble his efforts to find Niala and her children. Niala was later captured and executed by the Dominion, her death announced to the people of Cardassia by Broca. (DS9 short story: "An Errant Breeze")

Damar later heard of his wife's death on a mission to the Kelvas repair facility. (DS9 episode: "Tacking Into the Wind")
