Nicolaus Copernicus (19 February 1473 - 24 May 1543) was a Human astronomer who lived during the Renaissance era. He saw Luna eclipsing Aldebaran through a telescope in 1497 and first observed Saturn in 1514. He correctly deduced that planets in the solar system orbited Sol.
