The Nihydron were a spacefaring species native to the Delta Quadrant. The Nihydron territory was known to be near the Krenim Imperium.
History
During the early 25th century, following the threat posed by the Vaadwaur Supremacy, the Nihydron, alongside with the Krenim Imperium, Zahl and the Mawasi, formed an alliance in order to create a unified front againt the Supremacy's ofensive. This alliance was named the Krenim Coalition. The Nihydron, as all the other Coalition members, shared several technological equipments with each other.
Technology
By 2374, the Nihydron were already warp-capable for a considerably long time, and had starships with capabilities similar to the USS Voyager, equiped with beam energy weapons of unknown origin. By the 25th century, the Nihydron destroyer became the standard destroyer for the Krenim Coalition, and shortly after was also shared with the Alpha Quadrant Alliance after the beginning of the Iconian War. in that period was armed with temporal weaponry.
