Nisverin th'Menchal was an Andorian thaan, who served in the Andorian Imperial Guard, and later in the Federation Starfleet in the 22nd century.
History[]
In 2163, during the "Mute" crisis, he was chosen by his old friend and comrade, Admiral Hravishran th'Zoarhi, to lead the Federation task force from the field, under Shran's direct command. His mission was to protect any ships attacked by the "Mutes" and find a way to stop any further attacks.
His flagship was the USS Vinakthen, and the task force engaged the "Mutes" in battle several times. Many people, including th'Menchal, preferred the military solution to the problem, so he was quite unhappy with Admiral Shran's more peaceful approach. Nevertheless, he followed his orders, and executed Captain T'Pol's plan, and averted an all out war with the "Mutes", and the plans of the Orion sisters. (ENT novel: A Choice of Futures)
