The Njura system was an unnamed star system located in or near Federation space in the the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants.
History and specifics[]
In the 13th century, four worlds in the system were colonized by Njurans, forming an interplanetary empire under the control of Njura.
In the 23rd century, colonial uprisings led to a successful rebellion that inspired the others to follow. In 2260, economic pressure from the rebellions forced emperor Kring to sign a disarmament treaty with the colonists on these four planets and institute democracy.
In 2270, President Kring and his advisors secretly began a military buildup on Njura to retake their colonies, but their plot was exposed by Spock. (TOS comic: "To Err Is Vulcan")
