For other uses, see No Man's Land.

No Man's Land was a region of space located near the Beta and Delta Quadrant border in the Milky Way Galaxy. It was riddled with various hazardous stellar bodies. There was at least four asteroid belts, a black hole, and two red giants. Rifted within the region were ripples of gravity waves.

In 2376, the USS Voyager approached this area. Despite the hazardous region, it was the best optimal way for the Federation ship to reach the Alpha Quadrant. According to Seven of Nine, it would take seventeen months, six weeks, four days, and nine hours to cross.

At the same time, the area became a hotspot for Iconian gateway activity, bringing a multitude of vessels from across the galaxy. Even after the portals from the gateways ceased bringing more vessels, they began to randomly open and close, adding to the dangers of the region. (VOY - Gateways novel: No Man's Land)
