The Nobel Prize was a prestigious honor established in 1895 by Alfred Nobel, awarded annually since 1901 in the fields of Physics, Chemistry, Physiology or Medicine, Literature, and Peace. The prizes were presented on Earth during their early history; by the mid 23rd century, the awards ceremony was moved to Memory Prime. (TOS novel: Memory Prime)
