The Noble-class was a type of Federation cruiser, an assault cruiser in Starfleet service in the early 25th century. It was a variant of the Sovereign-class. (ST video game: Star Trek Online)

Technical data[]

Of all the assault cruiser classes, the Noble-class was the most similar in design to the Sovereign-class. It had a bigger and more circular saucer section, but the secondary hull is smaller than both the Majestic and Sovereign-classes. It also had two up-swept nacelle pylons connecting the warp nacelles at roughly a 45 degree angle.

There were two variants of the Noble-class, the original assault cruiser variant and a fleet assault cruiser refit variant. Both variants sported 2 foward-firing and 2 aft-firing phaser arrays and 2 foward-firing and 2 aft-firing torpedo launchers, as well as deflector shields. However, while the original variant was only equipped with Type-VIII phasers and Mark VIII torpedo launchers and shield generators, the refit variant was equipped with Type-X phasers and Mark X torpedo launchers and shield generators.
