Gul Nogar was a male Cardassian in the 24th century.

In 2370 he commanded the Ramoth's Revenge from which he led a convoy of five other vessels to the mining moon Davonia. They arrived just as a Starfleet and Bajoran team were making their escape from the moon in a stolen Cardassian vessel. Nogar hailed the vessel, unaware of its crew and soon figured out something was going but was distracted when a runabout on the mission opened fire on the convoy and warped away. Nogar took the convoy in pursuit.

The convoy soon caught up with the runabout which had been on autopilot and realizing the distraction reversed course to follow the stolen Cardassian ship. They had closed in on the vessel and were firing on it by the time it reached Deep Space 9. There the Federation station claimed the ship had requested asylum, and Nogar, reluctant to battle the well armed facility was forced to back off and depart. (DS9 novel: Devil in the Sky)
