Nogura was the name of one of three cats owned by Anne Gauvreau and kept aboard the SS Ian Shelton in 2269. Nogura was named after Starfleet Admiral Heihachiro Nogura, though Gauvreau noted that her Nogura could not keep her from doing as she pleased. (TOS novel: Prime Directive)
