Dr. Nomias Gzin was a 23rd century Andorian man (chan or thaan), a scientist from the Federation's Xenological Research Institute.

Biography[]

By the mid-2260s decade, Gzin had completed his doctorate degree.

In the year 2268, he, Mei Chu, and Helen Gordon traveled to Midgwis aboard the Federation starship USS Enterprise to join three other scientists who studied the foraging humanoid Midgwin.

Not long after the starship departed, a plague erupted in the nearly Walpuk Warren. Not only did the natives' hive mind fail to prevent deaths, but some of the sick Midgwin were being eaten by hostile licats. Gzin and his teammates accompanied patriarch Kailin Arxoras to the warren to provide whatever aid they could. (TOS novel: Ghost-Walker)
