Nor-class stations were a class of space stations.

History and specifications

Nor-class stations were originally of Cardassian design, however individual stations have been under the control of various factions. (TNG novel: The Battle of Betazed, ST video game: Trexels missions: "Intro", "Skirmish", DS9 - Mirror Universe novel: Saturn's Children, STO mission: "Badlands Battlezone")

The Nor-class is marked by a central core surrounded by two rings with a diameter of 1451.82 meters, the outermost of which served as the base for six arching docking pylons, three above and three below, with a total height of 969.26 meters. The majority of Nor-class stations were designed to support mining and refining operations, though they could be adapted to other purposes. (DS9 reference: Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Technical Manual)
