A norgh was an ocean-dwelling predatory animal native to the Klingon civilization's homeworld Qo'noS in the galaxy's Beta Quadrant, analogous to an Earth shark. (TOS novel: Sarek)

This appears to be the name inspiration for the Norgh-class Klingon bird-of-prey.
