In the Kelvin timeline according to Khan Noonien Singh, the North American Coalition was one of the seven Augment regions which were formed in September 1992. Ruled by Alexander Newton, it encompassed the nations of North America. By 1996, Augment infighting led to nuclear war that turned the northern half of his territory into wasteland. Newton retained control of Central America, then captured eight nations in South America and a third of Brazil from Asahf Ferris to form the New American Empire.
