Nostrene

Nostrene was a Tholian officer who commanded an experimental starship in 2376.

Biography[]

Like many Tholians who harbored a hatred of Starfleet and the Federation and hope that his experimental vessel with enhanced warp drive capabilities would allow the Tholian Assembly to rival any other spacefaring race in the Alpha or Beta Quadrant.

During the trial runs in an isolated area, Nostrene and his crew discovered the Constitution-class Starfleet vessel, the USS Defiant, that had emerged from spatial interphase after more than a century. Unlike many of his crew, Nostrene immediately recognized that the vessel was not a tactical threat, and instead decided to inform his commanders of the discovery. (SCE eBook: Interphase, Part One)
