Nramia was a Cardassian colony near the Federation border. Nramia was primarily hot and dry, making it ideal for the cultivation of krintar, a rare plant and foodstuff.
In 2371, the climate of Nramia was destroyed by a Maquis terrorist using one of the ancient Malkus Artifacts, forcing the Cardassian population to abandon the planet. (VOY - The Brave and the Bold, Book Two novella: The Third Artifact)
In the closing days of the Dominion War, the Klingon Empire invaded the planet. The IKC Ki'tang was destroyed in the battle against the Dominion's forces. Leskit piloted a Jakvi-class ship during the battle. (GKN novels: A Good Day to Die, Enemy Territory)
