Nukemobile

A 2260s nukemobile.

A nukemobile was a type of nuclear-powered hovercraft used in the 23rd century.

History and specifics[]

A nukemobile cockpit seated one driver and five passengers. It had a long fuselage, tail fin, and a small forward engine under the hood.

In 2234, at age 12, Montgomery Scott stripped a V-3 nukemobile engine for the first time. He become intimately familiar with them and kept track of new model releases.

In 2262, a new model, the V3A-class, was released.

In 2264, Spock and Scott picked up James T. Kirk at Phobos Base and drove him in a nukemobile, but it proved to have a defective diverter. (TOS comic: "Captain James T. Kirk: Psycho-File")
