A nurse's station is a part of a medical facility such as a hospital, sickbay, doctor's office, or other medical facility.

Nurses and other medical professionals often work behind such stations when not directly caring for patients. These stations are used to monitor patients, prepare medication, perform charting, and other administrative tasks.

The hospital in New Anchorage on Tarsus IV had a number of such stations. In between helping to care for a large number of patients, Lieutenant Commander Philippa Georgiou would often be found at a nurse's station. (DSC novel: Drastic Measures)
