Biography[]
Turan was once an intelligence analyst in the Obsidian Order, but defected to the Federation, where he joined the Federation News Service. Turan's level of expertise was such that Ozla Graniv asked him to study the artificial intelligence program Uraei. Turan commented that even the Obsidian Order would not have designed an AI program like Uraei, given that it could give itself more access and capabilities. (S31 novel: Control)
