Ufp-emblem

The USS Oberon (NCC-1806) was a Miranda-class Federation starship active in the late 23rd century.

This ship and her crew were used in Starfleet Academy bridge crew training simulations for the Class of 2288.

(Game: Star Trek: Starfleet Academy)

This ship was seen in-game with the given name and registry number clearly written on her hull.

A second--or possiblely re-commissioned--starship USS Oberon (NCC-1880) is listed as an Avenger-class heavy frigate, having been refitted to Avenger-class specifications on Stardate 7533.5 from an earlier Surya-class frigate.

(Book: Ships of the Star Fleet)

The Avenger class is an early fanon designation for the Miranda class. The Surya class is a Star Trek: The Original Series (TOS) era version of the Miranda-class, but with a shorter extended hull and no rollbar.
