Oblat was a male Ferengi who ruled as Grand Nagus of the Ferengi Alliance at the end of the Hupyrian Conflict.
Biography[]
Oblat had vast holdings on the Hupyrian homeworld, primarily duridium mines. During the Conflict, the Hupyrian People's Unity Front attempted to "liberate" the Nagus's mines, prompting Oblat to commit the Ferengi military to the fight. Success was limited for the Ferengi/Hupyrian Friendship Brigade until the discovery of Hupyrian beetle snuff. When Oblat announced all Ferengi troops would be supplied with a can of Hupyrian beetle snuff every week, enlistment soared, and Oblat's Hupyrian holdings were soon secured once again.
