Oblik was a star with an associated star system, that was located a number of parsecs away from Earth and the Sol system, near the border between the galaxy's Alpha and Beta Quadrants.

History and specifics[]

The Federation starship USS Oblik was named for this location. (TOS reference: Star Fleet Technical Manual)

Oblik's system was the home of a number of planets, the third of which, Oblik III, was found to be inhabited by dinosaurs when charted by USS Enterprise in the 2270s decade. (TOS audiobook: Dinosaur Planet)
