17 year old Leonard McCoy is studying at Ole Miss, where his roommate is Sinnit Arvid, one of the first aliens McCoy has met. Arvid is preparing to take take part in a gymnastics competition and McCoy notices that Arvid has a odd, angered reaction to seeing Emony Dax is one of the judges. McCoy has a different reaction, he is immediately taken by Emony's beauty.
