An Omicronian orchid is a type of flower of undetermined origin. Its pollen acted as an allergen in some humans, and an Omicronian orchid anti-allergen was available among the standard medical supplies for Starfleet away teams in the late 24th century. (SCE eBook: Fables of the Prime Directive)

This may be a reference to the spore-producing plants of Omicron III, established in TOS episode: "This Side of Paradise".
