Biography[]
Ompar was an official of the Bajoran Provisional Government and was a liaison between the government and the religious orders.
During the Wrath crisis in 2372, Ompar met with Kai Winn and asked her to announce to the Bajoran people that the Wrath disease was a test of their belief from the Prophets. Winn disagreed with Ompar's determination. (DS9 novel: Wrath of the Prophets)
