Biography[]
Ompar was an official of the Bajoran Provisional Government and was a liaison between the government and the religious orders.
During the Wrath crisis in 2372, Ompar met with Kai Winn and asked her to announce to the Bajoran people that the Wrath disease was a test of their belief from the Prophets. Winn disagreed with Ompar's determination. Ompar later committed suicide as he had contracted the disease and in a suicide note revealed that he was a black marketeer.
