In November 2385, the two-starship task force consisting of the USS Prometheus and IKS Bortas visited Onferin during their investigation into Renao-led terrorist attacks on Federation and Klingon Empire holdings. The Onferin acquiesced to the investigation to avoid military retaliation by the Klingons. (PRM novel: Fire with Fire)
