For other uses, see Onizuka.

Onizuka was an aquatic vehicle used on Earth, a Federation Ocean Monitoring Platform in service in the 2280s.

History and specifics[]

Onizuka was built in Japan.

In 2286, it was on loan for the use of Project Nursery. While observing George, Gracie and baby humpback whale Jessie in the Pacific Ocean, the vessel followed them from San Francisco Bay along the Pacific coast to South America, then to Pailolo Channel in Hawaii, where the vessel moored. After Jesse was whalenapped and taken to the harbor of Los Angeles, California, the ship's crew were forced to consider a high-speed pursuit. (FASA RPG module: The Hottest Blood of All)

This vessel was probably named for Challenger astronaut Ellison Onizuka.
