Memory Beta, non-canon Star Trek Wiki

Opaka Fasil was a male Bajoran who lived in the 24th century. Fasil was the son of Opaka Sulan and Opaka Bekar.

In 2348, Opaka discovered the Orb of Prophecy and Change after being told by his mother where he could find it after Opaka had a vision. (ST - Terok Nor novel: Night of the Wolves)

Fasil later joined the Bajoran Resistance. In 2368, Opaka Sulan secretly leaked out the location of his cell to prevent the Cardassians from killing the inhabitants of the Kendra Valley and Fasil was later killed. In order to protect Opaka, Prylar Bek claimed responsibility and committed suicide on Terok Nor. Kira Nerys learned the truth in 2370 after Bareil took responsibility for leaking the information to the Cardassians. While speaking with Nerys, Bareil defended the choice that Opaka Sulan had made, stating that she had sacrificed her own son to protect the innocent population of Kendra Valley. (DS9 episode: "The Collaborator", ST - Terok Nor novel: Dawn of the Eagles)
