During an Undine attack, the Alliance gained access to class IV Iconian gateways connecting the Beta Quadrant with the Jenolan Dyson Sphere in the Delta Quadrant. (STO - Solanae Dyson Sphere mission: "Surface Tension")
The Alliance commenced an intelligence gathering operation. The intelligence services of the premier Khitomer Alliance members - Klingon Empire, United Federation of Planets and Romulan Republic - were key in this operation and held positions at Delta Quadrant Command in the Jenolan Dyson Sphere.
