For the primary universe counterpart, see Organian.

In the mirror universe, the Organians were the inhabitants of the planet Organia and a subject species of the Terran Empire.

Following a minor skirmish between the Terran and Klingon Empires in the mid 2260s, Organia came under the control of the Terrans. Shortly thereafter, Vulcan and Tiburonese scientists arrived on Organia-where they used sophisticated equipment to imprison and study the Organians, beings of pure energy and with god-like powers. The science teams' main intention was to give Terrans and their allies pseudo-divine powers similar to those of the Organians.

Using the Organians as an energy source was a further consideration of the science teams stationed on the planet. (Decipher RPG module: Through a Glass, Darkly)
