The Ourentia were a species from the Gamma Quadrant and members of the Dominion.
The Ourentia once began an uprising, leading to the Dominion to send the Jem'Hadar to quell it. Among the troops who did so was Taran'atar. (DS9 novel: The Dominion: Olympus Descending)
In 2386, several Ourentia boarded a Jem'Hadar battle cruiser with more than three thousand other individuals aboard, all intent on starting new lives in the Alpha Quadrant. (DS9 novel: The Long Mirage)
