Outpost Quebec Alpha was a Federation space station, a Sierra type Quebec outpost in Starfleet service in the 2400s and 2410s decades. It was located in the Breshar star system and aiding independent Romulan colonies, in cooperation with the Vulcan Science Academy. (STO - Klingon War mission: "Patrol the Breshar System")
History
Outpost Quebec Alpha was one of a handful of Federation bases established in the Ponor sector in the early 2390s decade. The original use of Quebec Alpha was to provide support for colony worlds seeking independence from the politically kareening Romulan Star Empire.
Over the five years from 2404 to 2409, Quebec Alpha's focus changed to defense and research. A team from the Vulcan Science Academy in residence on the station, and academy students frequently assisted in planetary surveys of Beshar Prime.
In 2409, a Starfleet patrol engaged hostile Remans attempting to take over Quebec Alpha, which would have given them a staging ground from which to attak Federation colonies.
The station was still present in the Ponor sector by 2410. (STO - Klingon War mission: "Patrol the Breshar System")
