Owen Salazar-Tucker was a Human male who lived in the 22nd century, and served as a soldier of the Military Assault Command Organization during the Earth-Romulan War. He was the nephew of the famed Earth Starfleet engineer Charles Tucker III.
Biography[]
Owen spent a large part of his childhood in Kenmare, Ireland before moving to Alabama with his adopted parents, Albert Tucker and Miguel Salazar. . (ENT episode: "Breaking the Ice"; ENT novel: Kobayashi Maru)
In 2156, Owen's desire to join the MACOs was a matter of argument between him and his parents, who felt that sixteen was too young an age to make a decision like that. Eventually he left home to join the MACOs without their blessing, feeling that it was his duty to join the fight against the Romulans.
By August 2157, Owen completed his military training and was stationed aboard the Enterprise (NX-01). He was a member of Sergeant Selma Guitierrez's landing team that was deployed to the surface Galorndon Core to rescue scientists Hans Ruden and Emily Jensen before Romulan forces invaded the planet. During the ensuing firefight, Owen rescued the injured Sergeant Guitierrez by carrying her to their shuttlepod that took off only moment before the Romulans razed the planet's surface.
