PaertesNebula

The USS Enterprise enters the Paertes Nebula.

The Paertes Nebula was a nebula in the Alpha or Beta Quadrant of the Milky Way Galaxy. It lay near the Delta system.

When the USS Enterprise-D fled from the Borg/Cyberman fleet in the Delta system in 2368, Captain Jean-Luc Picard requested Lieutenant Commander Data to find a place to conceal the ship that would confuse the enemy sensors. Data suggested the Paertes Nebula as it was nearby, and took the ship in. The Borg and Cyberman ships hesitated to follow them in, and eventually left. (TNG - Assimilation² comic: "Issue 3")
