The Paladin-class was a type of destroyer starship in active service to the Federation Starfleet in the mid-to-late 23rd century.
The Paladin-class was built for speed and maneuverability which suited their primary mission for defensive duties. The Paladins were built with a single-crew hull and was equipped with two sleek warp nacelles situated aft, one above the saucer section, the other below.
