The Palais de la Concorde Press Liaison is the individual in the Federation government charged with representing the Federation, including the Council and the President, to the public at large and the press, and with disseminating relevant news to the public. The press liaison gives at least one daily briefing in the Palais de la Concorde's holocommunications briefing room, where the liaison communicates virtually with dozens of reporters from across the Federation. None of the press are actually allowed in the Palais, however.

From 2377 to at least 2380, the Palais de la Concorde Press Liaison was Kant Jorel. (ST novel: Articles of the Federation)
