For other uses, see Palmieri.

Professor Palmieri was a sociologist in the late 23rd century or 24th century. Palmieri believed that Hodgkin's Law of Parallel Planetary Development was flawed, and devised a competing statement called the Palmieri Hypothesis. By the 2370s, Palmieri's work was more favored by social scientists. (SCE eBook: Fables of the Prime Directive)

This professor is presumably named after Pocket Books editor Marco Palmieri.
