In 2372, Benjamin Sisko was to have filed a report on Dominion trade routes in the Gamma Quadrant. Sisko, distracted by the arrival of the survivors of the USS Saratoga on Deep Space 9, had forgotten to file it. Pardee contacted him two days later, but Jake Sisko told the Admiral that Sisko was in a part of the station where he could not be contacted. (DS9 novel: Saratoga)
