Parides was a star system located in the space of the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants.
History and specifics[]
The Parides system's orbit was the location of at least four planets, including fourth planet Parides IV.
In 2276, Federation ambassador Alec Raymond traveled with James T. Kirk, Spock, and Leonard McCoy to the system on a diplomatic mission in the shuttlecraft Hoyle. The starship USS Enterprise later visited the system. (TOS - Untold Voyages comic: "Silent Cries")
