Pasta mama is a type of food from the Human civilization of the planet Earth, a dish of fresh or pre-cooked pasta that is sautéed with egg and cheese in the style of Italy's cooking on the European continent.
History and specifics[]
In the year 2259, Captain Christopher Pike made pasta mama for Captain Marie Batel, who he was entertaining in his quarters while the Federation starship USS Enterprise was on layover for installation of new technology at an Earth Outpost Station, Outpost 4. Batel commented that they had spaghetti the previous night, to which Pike responded that pasta mama was a simple way to take the leftovers and make them into something new. Captain Batel noticed this was a metaphor for what they were doing for the outpost asteroids, although Pike commented that process was less tasty than his meal. (SNW episode: "A Quality of Mercy")
