Pat Aiello was a 23rd century female Human. She served aboard the Federation starship USS Enterprise, under the command of Captain James T. Kirk, as it's night nurse during the 2260s.
History
While Doctor Leonard McCoy had been trapped in command of the Enterpise, during its captain's disappearance, Aiello answered the call McCoy made to Sickbay. She proceeded to chastise the Doctor when he requested a weight-distribution pillow to be brought to the Bridge.
Aiello interrupted Commander Spock during his hurry to the Bridge, and handed off the pillow to the science officer. Upon his arrival, he described the nurse as being "a woman of few words, but forceful ones" to McCoy. (TOS novel: Doctor's Orders)
