Patrick was a male Human who lived in the 24th century. As a child, Patrick's parents had him undergo accelerated critical neural pathway formation which increased his intelligence, but left him trapped with a child-like personality. As a result, Patrick spent much of his life in the Institute.

Biography[]

When Karen Loews was assigned to the Institute, she selected Patrick, along with Jack, Lauren and Sarina Douglas, to be separated from the other residents so she could treat them differently. Among her methods was to take them to Deep Space 9 to meet Julian Bashir. During their time there, Patrick and the others became fascinated with the Dominion War, including studying a speech given by Corat Damar, and wanted to learn more. While watching a recording of Dominion negotiations, Patrick realised that the Dominion was hoping to gain the Kabrel star system in a treaty. After Jack, Patrick and Lauren attempted to pass classified Starfleet files to the Dominion, they were returned to the Institute. (DS9 episode: "Statistical Probabilities")

In 2375, Patrick posed as a Starfleet admiral in order to get Sarina to Deep Space 9 so Bashir could treat her and free her from her catatonic state. At the time, Patrick was working with Jack and Lauren in order to "lighten" the universe. (DS9 episode: "Chrysalis")

First splinter timeline[]

By 2382, Patrick, Jack and Lauren had began to work for Starfleet Intelligence, revealing some startling information on the Breen. (ST - Typhon Pact novel: Zero Sum Game)
